Silence Is Easy – Starsailor

Ten years ago this week, Silence is easy by Starsailor entered the UK singles chart at its highest position of number 9. After one week at its peak position, the song dropped out of the top 10 and spent the final two weeks of its chart life in the lower top 40.

Silence is easy was released on the EMI record label and was the second of two UK top 10 hits for Starsailor. It was the first track taken from a gold-selling album of the same name that peaked at number 2 in the UK albums chart.
