This week in 2003, Wildest dreams by Iron Maiden entered the UK singles chart at number 6. This was the highest position the song achieved as it fell to number 21 a week later for a final week in the top 40.

Wildest dreams was released on the EMI record label and was the fourteenth of seventeen top 10 hits for Iron Maiden in the UK. It was taken from the silver-selling album Dance of death, which peaked at number 2 in the UK albums chart.
