Twenty years ago this week, Someday I’ll be Saturday night by Bon Jovi reached its highest position of number 7 in the UK singles chart, having entered the top 40 the previous week at number 9. After one week at its peak position, the song dropped out of the top 10 and spent the final two weeks of its chart life in the lower top 40.

Someday I’ll be Saturday night was released on the Jambco record label and was the seventh top 10 hit for Bon Jovi in the UK. It was included on the sextuple-platinum-selling greatest hits compilation Cross road, which spent five weeks at the top of the UK albums chart.
