Stuck On You – Trevor Walters

Thirty years ago this week, Stuck on you by Trevor Walters entered the UK top 10 at its highest position of number 9, having entered the top 40 two weeks previously at number 23. After one week at its peak position, the song fell to number 10 for a final week in the top 10 and then spent the last three weeks of its chart life in the lower top 40.

Stuck on you was released on the Sanity record label and was the only top 10 hit for Trevor Walters in the UK. It was included on the album Walters gold with love, which failed to enter the UK album chart in 1985.

The original version of the song was recorded by Lionel Richie in 1983. Richie’s version peaked at number 12 in 1984.
